DARR
Global Holdings Inc. is a private equity investment firm. We help owners
and managers unleash the maximum value in their firms by investing and working with them
to create aggressive growth in revenue and earnings.
DARR’s
investment
strategy is to invest in established businesses which have
substantial growth opportunities. These established businesses act as
strategic partners and can range from a large corporation to a small
private company as long as they have a unique market position or strategic
assets. DARR may invest directly in a parent company or a spin-off, but in
all cases seeks to have the strategic partner as a significant investor.
We
have been active in the investment business since 1987 and have invested in Food, Technology, Manufacturing and Travel companies in the
middle market. In January of 2002 we launched a new initiative in the
Healthcare services industry.
Dinesh
(Dan) Desai, Chairman
Dinesh
R. Desai, Chairman of DARR Global Holdings, Inc. came to America from
India in 1972 after graduating from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),
Bombay, with a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering. He holds a
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University and
a Masters of Business Administration from Temple University. Dinesh
spent twelve years with American Can and Arco Chemical in various
management positions, including marketing, manufacturing, finance,
planning and research and development. He left ARCO Chemical in 1986
and founded DARR Global Holdings, Inc.
Dinesh
is also involved in various not for profit and community organizations.
Stephen C. Donnelly,
CPA,
Chief Financial Officer
Steve is a senior financial and business development executive experienced
in providing comprehensive acquisition, management, valuation and
integration services to growing companies in a variety of business sectors
including healthcare, consumer products and services, business services,
and manufacturing. He has been personally involved in over 125 completed
transactions, 150 due diligence engagements and over 500 valuations.
Between 1993-2002, Steve was a Managing Director at Acquisition Management
Services, Inc., a merger and acquisition advisory firm. Prior to that,
Steve was the Director of Operations for FLX Corporation, a private human
resource and employee benefits software developer, and a founder of a
small independent accounting firm. Steve was also a Financial Manager of
Mergers and Acquisitions and a Financial Manager of Operations at Foster
Medical Corporation. He began his career with the accounting firm of
PriceWaterhouse. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting from Villanova University.
Brian McAdams,
Senior Partner
Brian has been involved in
successful entrepreneurial ventures for nearly 25 years. Brian's
experience includes strategic marketing, business development and
investing. Brian started his career in the food industry and then moved
into the advertising industry. In
1976, Brian co-founded and managed McAdams, Richman and Ong, a strategic
marketing, advertising and design company. Between 1994-1997, Brian was
chairman and CEO of NYSE-listed National Media Corporation, a worldwide leader in television direct
marketing with an annual revenue of $300 million. Brian has a bachelor of science from St. Joseph
University, where he also serves as a board member for the Haub School
of Business.

Eric
Bulock, Partner
Eric
started his career in the technology industry in 1989 and spent 10 years
innovating, developing, and marketing support related database and online
publishing efforts for Ziff Davis’ PC Week, Powersoft Corporation and
Electronic Book Technologies Inc. (EBT). At PC Week, Eric was instrumental in
developing Ziff Davis' pioneering online services and was awarded the Ben
Franklin Award for innovation and leadership. In 1993 Eric developed the Windows

companion and the Powersoft Infobase,
an award-winning, electronic technical support information product.
In 1996 Eric founded Passport Express, a leading online travel business
specializing in expediting passport and visa procurement. In 1998 Eric
co-founded MyHelpdesk, Inc., an
award-winning online computer help directory consecutively named to PC
Magazine’s 'Top 100 Websites' (1999, 2000) and awarded the 2000 Service
Innovation in Service Award by
IT Support News. Eric holds a BA in Economics & Sociology from
the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Vicki Ballinger,
Associate
Vicki
L. Ballinger has been an associate at Darr Global Holdings since February
2000. Vicki holds a B.A. in Industrial and Human Resources
Management and a MBA from Rowan University. Prior to starting at
DARR, Vicki was an ISO Program Manager and Quality Assurance Administrator
for the Tape Products division of American Biltrite Inc.
We
work closely with the managers of the businesses we invest in and bring
our diverse experience to the team as a true added value that most
companies could not afford.
